My team also had the original intention of creating a digital video game but were forced to adapt later on. It seemed like you guys wanted to incorporate many different aspects, and I think you did that very well without it becoming too complicated. Your slides were very thorough and I think they explained the game perfectly and it is clear you put hard work into the creation of your game and the slides. I like how on your character design slide, you described the theme you were going for and what decisions you made based off of that, such as the theme of collecting elements or the theme of heroism. I also like how you decided to do a board game because it is simple and I honestly think sometimes the simple way is better because games nowadays are so complicated. Hi! This game reminds me of other running games I have played, but I haven’t played a maze one before so I think it would be very fun to try. I like how thorough your gameplay video is and I think you did a great job of explaining how to play the game early on in the presentation. I like the story to the game to, I think the utopian society and government-made maze aspect is really interesting and I think it gives the game a new depth which I love! Furthermore, I like the incorporation of different map ideas because I can understand a maze getting too repetitive once you have beat it, but the idea where you add more complicated maps is really interesting and I think that is a good idea. The addition of music and sound is also a fantastic idea because I think music and sound can add a level of immersion into a game that other games without sound cant. Overall, I think your presentation was great and it seemed that everyone was on the same page and everyone did a great job describing their parts of the presentation. The game is a great idea and if it was made, I would definitely play it!
